You look at your watch and realize that it’s almost time for your lunch break, so you head for the door. You head to the living room to get an iced-tea and sit down for a TV show. You decide that you’re going to make a quick trip to the bathroom. You walk there and notice that the water is beading up on the surface. You wonder if it’s because there’s a leak somewhere. You stand at the urinal and notice how warm it is there. You decide that it’s probably best to wait until later to find out where the leak is.

Two of your coworkers stop by to ask if you’re ready for tonight’s work party. You hesitate for a moment and then say that you are. You look at your watch and wonder if it’s time for your birthday party. You wonder if anyone remembers you being born. You decide to find out soon enough.

You get a call from your doctor. You ask yourself if it’s concerning your physical health. The doctor says that it’s concerning your mental health and that he’s given you some pills to help you sleep. You tell yourself that you’ve had trouble sleeping, and then promptly forget about it as you focus on your work. You make a note to self that you need to stop by the pharmacy to pick up your prescriptions. You decide that it’s best to get them both filled because it’s been a while since your last visit to the doctor.

You arrive at the pharmacy. You ask about the dosages. The pharmacist tells you that they’re for your anxiety. You tell yourself that it’s nothing to be worried about. You remind yourself to breathe and then leave the pharmacy. You tell yourself that you can’t afford to be overdressed or underdressed. You decide that you need a skirt to go with your top. You decide against a dress and then decide against pants as well. You look for a skirt that’s both short and long. You finally find one that you like and then decide against it because it’s not a nice color on you. You look in your wallet and notice how many bills you have there. You decide not to worry about it and then promptly forget about it as you head to your car.

While driving, you realize that you’re running late. You call your boss to explain. You ask if there’s anything you can do to hurry. Your boss tells you that he understands and then says that he’s going to put you through to the accounting department. You tell yourself that this is going to take a while. You ask if you should get a coffee before you go in. You decide against it and then promptly forget about it as you focus on your work.
