How Is The Water Temperature?

The outdoor pool at Foxwood is open from April to October. The average temperature of the water ranges from 75 to 80 degrees Fahrenheit. During the winter, the pool is usually closed. The water is maintained at 80 degrees Fahrenheit, which allows the guests to swim during the winter, albeit in a cold water environment. However, the outdoor pool does not become cold due to wind chill. As a result, even if it is windy outside, you will not feel overly cold while swimming. The pool is equipped with underwater lights to make it look more like a tropical island environment and less like an ice cream truck sitting on the beach. The lighting is dim enough to not disturb the sleep of the late-night gamers or to strain your eyesight in the morning.

How Is The Pool Conveniently Located?

The pool at Foxwood is located near the intersection of Routes 5/280 and 22. If you are coming from the north, stay in the left lane and make a right turn onto Route 5/280. After you pass under the Route 5 bridge, you will see the sports book and casino complex on your right. The complex is adjacent to the Foxwoods Resort and Casino, and is connected to it by a breezeway and a covered walkway. From the north, make a right turn onto Route 22, and then continue straight until you see the circular driveway in front of you. The pool is located next to the southern end of the driveway.

There are direct connections from the sports book and casino to the hotel via a pedestrian bridge. If you are staying at the hotel and don’t want to shuttle back and forth between the sports book and the hotel each day, this is the way to go. However, if you are driving, you will need to find a way to get to your hotel from the sports book and casino, since there is no direct connection. Your best bet is to take exit 10 on to I-289 north. Stay in the right lane and take the first exit after the underpass. Make a left onto Grand Central Parkway, and the hotel will be on your right.

The pool water temperature is monitored and regulated by the staff at all times.
