It’s that time of year again, folks. The summer sun is shining, the beach is inviting, and you need a way to cool off. The perfect opportunity to hit the beaches of New Jersey is just around the corner. The Hillside New Jersey pool opens up for the season on Friday, June 15th and will stay open until October 28th. The daily rate is $25 per person and $35 for peak periods.
If you’re not familiar, Hillside is a suburban community located about 30 minutes north of New York City. In addition to a seasonal pool, the community also features a tennis court, a sports field, and a playground. You can take a leisurely stroll along the boardwalk, check out the attractions, or head for a swim.
As for when does Hillside open? The pool will open at 9 am and close at 6 pm on weekdays and 8 pm on weekends. During peak periods (Monday to Thursday), the pool closes at 4 pm and weekends close at 8 pm. On Friday and Saturday nights, the pool stays open until 9 pm during the summer. However, there is also a possibility that the pool could close earlier if enough people aren’t swimming during those hours.
Peak periods at the pool start in June and continue until October. These are typically the hottest months of the year, so make sure to make the most of the weather while you can. If you’re looking for a summer holiday, Hillside could be the perfect spot for you. The temperature rarely goes above 86 degrees Fahrenheit, so you can feel confident wearing a swimsuit most of the time. Bring your bathing suit and swimming cap along, and feel free to dive in without worry. Make sure to wear your sunscreen and bring your sunglasses along to protect your eyes from the sun’s harsh rays. Being near NYC, there will always be plenty to do and see, whether you want to visit the city or catch a movie at the local theater. Either way, you’re sure to have a good time.
